Captain Rock
This Portland, Oregon rock band was all about high-energy, in-your-face music that was also slyly smart. The site design reflected the band's cheerily smarmy attitude and provided a wide assortment of band info and ways for fans to get involved, and for new fans to get up to speed. Sadly, like many bands, this one burned out rather than faded away, and is now only a memory.
