There were considerable budget challenges involved in creating designs for University of Missouri's Instructional Materials Lab. Because this group is completely funded by grants, costs were monitored very closely. This resulted in many designs being printed in only one or two colors. Within these limitations, my goal was to create clear, easy-to-follow designs that also possessed a compelling modern edge without losing sight of their target audiences.
